Dr. Ruth Bohlken, Owner

Dr. Bohlken completed her PhD in Health and Human Performance from Oklahoma State University after receiving a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Exercise Science (minor in Gerontology) from Wichita State University. Dr. Bohlken is a Master Trainer for Stanford University’s School of Medicine Chronic Disease Self- Management Program, Diabetes Self-Management Program, and Arthritis Self- Management Program and has extensive study through the American College of Sports Medicine and through the International Society of Clinical Densitometry as a Bone Density Technologist .

Dr. Bohlken was born and raised in Wichita, KS and has over 25 years of practical experience instructing various types of educational and fitness classes.

Dr. Bohlken is dedicated to enhancing functional fitness for adults with all levels of physical abilities and facilitates the functional performance classes offered through Advocates for Active Aging.

Miranda Kirkland - Instructor

Ms. Kirkland graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise in December of 2013. She has several years of personal experience in fitness and weight loss and currently instructs the Your Pace Pilates Class.
